The goal of nutritional therapy is to help you better understand and take full responsibility for your health. We will assess your body's current state of balance and work together to create a personal plan for supporting its optimal function. By employing a properly prepared, nutrient dense diet, similar to that eaten by ancient peoples, the body is free to balance itself as God created it to do.

Welcome to Eighth Day Wellness! I'm Katherine. Born on the eighth day and into the Eighth Day, I'm passionate about the new beginnings and healing symbolized by this number.
I found nutritional therapy 10 years ago when conventional medicine could not heal me. It was a last resort for me, but has had primary significance in the trajectory of my health.
My journey of dis-ease was lifelong in many ways. Dealing with constant gastrointestinal distress through childhood; asthma, allergies, carpal tunnel, and IBS in my teens; heart irregularities and autoimmunity in my early twenties; and a poor tolerance for stress my whole life, made me highly susceptible to a health-crisis when I was exposed to heavy metals and mold in my mid-twenties. But everything turned around when I learned how to effectively nourish my body and soul.
In pursuit of more personal healing and with a desire for God to redeem much of my pain so I could help others, I completed certification programs to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) and a Restorative Wellness Practitioner (RWP).
In the last decade I have learned SO much and I continue to heal deeper and deeper layers of my health (mentally, physically, and spiritually). Layers that I would not have even been aware of had I not experienced much of the pain and illness I've endured. God has been so kind through the process and I look forward to hearing more about how He has been with you through your journey as well.
